GGWOODWORKS is based in Troy, Ohio, and is owned and operated by craftsman and designer Godwin Gabriel.

Working primarily with American black walnut and other high-quality hardwoods, Godwin creates custom furniture, signage, and one-of-a-kind display pieces with a focus on clean lines, subtle South Asian influences, and timeless design. Each piece is crafted in his workshop using a blend of traditional woodworking tools and modern processes like CNC and laser engraving.

With a background in storytelling, filmmaking, and design, Godwin brings a creative and thoughtful approach to every project - whether it’s a minimalist live-edge desk, a refined charcuterie board with brass feet, or repurposing an Apple Macintosh into a functional bench for a retail space.

Self-taught and deeply hands-on, Godwin combines modern techniques with old-world craftsmanship - drawing inspiration from his culture, community, and a desire to build pieces that last. Each build is rooted in function, but designed to feel like a piece of personalized art.
